Knowetix invites you to look at the world as it could be and contemplate the transformation required to achieve a world civilization characterized by justice, balance, faith and appreciation. We hope you will contribute insights from your own experience and hopes for a peaceful future.
Knowetix initially formed with the idea to write about humanity’s burgeoning galactic space travel. We aimed to base our story on Baha’u’llah’s vision of the future in which people live in peace with one another and themselves. But we are not naive. Peace will not come quickly or easily. In our discussions of our future, we realize innumerable societal issues have to be addressed in order to collectively achieve this awesome feat.
We recognize the rampant materialism, prejudice, dogmas and injustice which impede human solidarity. But just as clearly, we recognize the power of unity. At the heart of Knowetix is the unquenchable thirst for knowledge, faith in humanity’s capacity for altruism, and commitment to search for practical solutions.

If you had asked Hyacinth four years ago what her future would have looked like, never would she have guessed Creative Director of her own business and a published author. Four years ago, she was a physical therapist frustrated by the medical industry. Today, she is focusing her energy and spirit on future solutions for current problems.
She was raised in the Baha’i Faith since she was six, however it took until her 30’s to understand the true meaning of the Faith’s three main principles: Oneness of God, Oneness of Religion, and Oneness of Humanity; the necessity of which is broadly apparent today. Through self-reflection, prayer and meditation, as well as therapy and medication, she is more focused on her purpose and goals than she was four years ago.

Roi studied philosophy and education at Earlham College before starting a career in software development. He has co-founded several startups. Some were successful, others not so much - but all gave important life lessons. He is husband to one spiritual educator, father to two daughters and grandfather to four children - all of whom bring him daily joy and clarity. Roi is an avid participant in community building endeavors to advance racial harmony and justice. He hopes his work at Knowetix can contribute in some way to the advancement of peace, justice, and unity.
As a child Roi attended Church of Christ in Bloomington, Indiana and remembers his father delivering sermons. When the family learned of the Baha’i Faith they sent him (and several of his brothers) to the local Baha’i children’s classes instead. There, even as a nine year old boy, he understood the core principle that all the Prophets of God proclaim the same faith. Any other notion, he thought, would just be illogical. Upon graduating from high school he embarked on a journey by bicycle across the U.S. During this formative experience he embraced the Baha’i Cause, which has been his spiritual home ever since.
